In Uzbekistan, starting from May 1, 2024, the price of the SMS notification service for Humo payment system cards will double. According to content provider Octotelecom, the price of each incoming message from the short number 13131 will increase from the current 84.2 soums to 168.4 soums. Company representatives explained the price increase by the rising costs of maintaining technical infrastructure, software development, and ensuring service security. The increase in energy resource prices and license fees also contributed to the tariff change. If a user wishes to deactivate this service, sending the word "STOP" to the short number 13131 is sufficient.
At the same time, the price of the "SMS-information 880" service provided by the payment organization "Click" will also be set at 168.4 soums from next month. We remind you that previously, SMS notification tariffs for the "Uzcard" payment system were also increased to a similar amount. One-time OTP codes in the Humo system are also sent via the 13131 number, and payment for message delivery is debited from the user's balance.
