Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola has announced the list of players who will not be able to assist the team in the upcoming Champions League match against Galatasaray. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to the specialist, Marc Guehi, Antoine Semenyo, and Rodri will not be able to take the field in this game. Additionally, Nico Gonzalez, Savio, and John Stones will also not be ready for the match. Guardiola emphasized that the list is quite long due to injuries and preparation issues.
The coach reminded that the team is currently outside the top eight and expressed hope that the support of the fans will provide City with the necessary push to enter the top 8.
Guardiola noted that not everything depends solely on Manchester City, but to claim a place in the top eight, they must first secure a victory in their own match.
The Manchester City vs. Galatasaray match in the final stage of the Champions League group phase will kick off on January 28 at 01:00 (Tashkent time).
