Tourist dies after snake bite in Egypt

A tourist visiting Egypt with family members has died following a snake bite. The Guardian reported on the incident.
According to reports, the German tourist traveled to the city of Hurghada in April. He participated in a snake charming show organized at a hotel. German police stated that two cobras were used in the show. They were placed on the shoulders and necks of the spectators.
The 57-year-old victim exhibited symptoms of poisoning; resuscitation measures were performed before he was transported to the hospital. Despite all the efforts of the doctors, it was not possible to save the man's life.
His identity has not been disclosed, but he was from the Unterallgoy district and was on vacation with two relatives. German police and the prosecutor's office are conducting an investigation into the case, and toxicological analysis results are awaited. Egyptian authorities, meanwhile, stated they were unaware of the incident.
