In an exciting match part of the 10th round of the Uzbekistan Super League, "Soʻgʻdiyona" hosted "Surxon" on their home turf. In a high-scoring and offensive encounter, the Jizzakh side delighted their fans by defeating their opponents with a 5-2 scoreline.
Sogdiana took the initiative from the very beginning and caught the opposition off guard with quick goals. First, Lyupcho Doriyev opened the scoring in the 11th minute, and shortly after, Islom Qobilov increased the lead to 2-0. The team solidified its dominance within the first half.
The hosts did not reduce the pressure in the second half. Zoir Joʻraboyev and Feysal Mulich scored consecutive goals, bringing the score to 4-0. By this point, the fate of the match was virtually decided.
Following this, “Surxon” attempted a comeback. Xumoyun Sherboʻtayev and Stefen Chinedu scored two goals in a short period, narrowing the gap to 4-2. However, in the final minutes of the match, Aleksandr Bolevich sealed the result at 5-2.

With this victory, “Soʻgʻdiyona” led by head coach Ulugʻbek Baqoyev, increased their points tally to 9 and rose to 13th place in the league table. “Surxon” remains in 12th place with 11 points.
In short, the match in Zaamin turned into a true goal show. “Soʻgʻdiyona” secured three important points through offensive efficiency and slightly improved their position in the season standings.
