Uzbekistan and Pakistan to Launch Direct Flights

Uzbekistan and Pakistan are planning to establish direct flights. This was reported by *The Express Tribune*.

This issue was discussed during the eighth session dedicated to Pakistan-Uzbekistan cooperation. According to Haroon Akhtar Khan, Pakistan's Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industries and Production, the establishment of direct flights will enhance trade opportunities and create potential for Uzbekistan to become a new connector between the Gulf region and Europe.

He added that the Pakistani government has instructed relevant authorities and airlines to expedite the launch of direct flights and ensure their regularity.
