Uzbekistan Airways to Acquire Four New Airbus Aircraft

Uzbekistan Airways has reached an agreement with China's CALC leasing company for the delivery of four new Airbus A321neo aircraft. The parties signed letters of understanding, and the aircraft are expected to be delivered in 2027–2028.

These Airbus planes will feature a two-class configuration and the new-generation Airspace Premium comfortable cabin. They will also be equipped with modern entertainment systems and high-speed Wi-Fi onboard.

Collaboration with CALC has been ongoing for several years, and this new agreement is part of Uzbekistan Airways' long-term fleet renewal program for 2026–2028. As part of the plan, the Uzbek airline will receive a total of six A321neo aircraft from CALC.

With this addition, the number of aircraft of this model in the airline’s fleet will reach 15. Uzbekistan Airways Chairman Shukhrat Khudaykulov emphasized the company’s consistent efforts to modernize its fleet, implement new technologies, and improve service quality.

He noted that the A321neo aircraft combine efficiency, advanced technical solutions, and enhanced passenger comfort.
