Austrian teenager converted to Islam

Austrian citizen Berner Leonard converted to Islam in a special ceremony held at the Mufti's office in Kayseri, Turkey, and took the new name "Musa Bilaleddin".

The ceremony was led by Kayseri Deputy Mufti Sabir Celik. At the ceremony, 23-year-old Leonard recited the shahada and officially became a Muslim.

The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. After that, Deputy Mufti Sabir Celik explained the basic principles of Islam. Leonard recited the shahada and performed the official ceremony of converting his religion.
