Iran’s leader: US aggression will face consequences
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei issued a strong warning to the United States, declaring that threats will not force Iran into submission. Speaking live on national TV, he said any act of hostility against the Iranian people will be met with a “strong slap.”

Meanwhile, Iran’s UN envoy Amir Saeed Iravani sent a formal letter to the UN leadership, stressing that Iran will firmly defend its sovereignty and that any act of aggression will have serious consequences, for which the US will be held accountable.

These warnings came after President Donald Trump ordered US forces to take decisive military action against Yemen’s Ansar Allah (Houthis) and urged Iran to cease its support for the group. Axios reported Trump gave Khamenei a two-month deadline for a new nuclear deal.
