Kallas: no privileges should be discussed with Putin.

An important dialogue was held online between the foreign ministers of the European Union countries and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. This meeting is regarded as one of the most discussed political events on the international stage.

At the end of the meeting, the Prime Minister of Estonia, who also has active influence in the European political arena, Kaja Kallas, once again firmly stated her position. According to her, until Russia completely and unconditionally ceases fire, no privileges, concessions, or mutual agreements with it can be discussed. These words by Kallas, especially in the context of the tense situation regarding Ukraine’s independence and territorial integrity, carried significant political weight.

“Such an approach has not yielded results in the past with Russia, and this path will also bring no result with Putin,” she said in her speech. In her view, preventing aggressive policies and maintaining a firm stance against the aggressor is the most important factor for Ukraine’s security today.

Kallas also noted that Ukraine’s sovereignty and independence are currently under very serious threat. The European Union, under these circumstances, does not intend to remain indifferent and is preparing to take even tougher measures against Russia. It has become known that the EU is currently working on the preparation of the 19th package of sanctions against Russia.

At the same time, the European Union intends to continue military support and financial assistance to Ukraine without interruption. This aid is important not only for the country’s defense but also for maintaining its economic stability.
