Tesla removed from Canadian auto show

Tesla removed from Canadian auto show
Tesla was removed from the Vancouver auto show in Canada, Tengri Auto reported, citing the "Za Rulem" portal.

Organizers stated that the brand’s vehicles were taken off the exhibit to prevent negative consequences. They had asked Tesla to voluntarily withdraw, but the company’s representatives refused. As a result, the cars were removed after being placed in the exhibition hall, and Tesla's name was deleted from the official participant list.

According to the show’s executive director, Eric Nicolla, the decision was based on safety concerns. In recent weeks, Tesla dealerships, cars, and their owners have been targeted in attacks.

The brand’s cars have been set on fire, their tires slashed, and bodies defaced with graffiti. The cause is said to be Elon Musk’s political activity and new U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods introduced by the Biden administration.
