Chevrolet is preparing to unveil the facelifted 2026 version of its popular Tracker crossover, CNN Brazil reported. Production has already begun at the plant in São Caetano do Sul, Brazil, and the vehicle will soon arrive at dealerships nationwide.
Exterior updates
The Tracker 2026 features split-level front lighting: slim LED daytime lights on top, main headlights below, plus new fog lamps. The bumper and grille are redesigned in the style of the Blazer and Equinox.
The sporty RS version returns, distinguished by black trim on the logo, mirrors, and wheels, as well as a split grille.
Interior inspired by Chinese model
The cabin is styled after the Chinese version, with an integrated display combining the instrument cluster and multimedia screen. The climate control unit now includes two dials and a display, replacing the older three-button layout. Unlike the Chinese model, the Brazilian version retains a hood over the instrument panel.

Technical specs unchanged
Though Chevrolet hasn’t confirmed specs, they are expected to remain:
• 1.0 Turbo (117/121 hp)
• 1.2 Turbo (139/141 hp)
Both engines run on gasoline or ethanol and are paired with a 6-speed automatic. All-wheel drive is not available. A mild-hybrid version is expected later.
Production and sustainability
The São Caetano plant has been upgraded with new robots, an advanced paint line, and quality control systems. Production now meets GM’s eco-standards, focusing on emissions reduction and energy efficiency.
Launch date
The official premiere of the Chevrolet Tracker 2026 is expected in July. It will be the first model in Chevrolet’s updated Latin American lineup. Later this year, facelifted Onix and Onix Plus, as well as the Spark EUV and Captiva EV from China, will also debut. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
