Tesla Model Y drives itself to customer from factory
Tesla Model Y drove itself from the factory in Austin to the buyer, Rozetked.me reported, quoting Elon Musk’s post on X.

According to Musk, the electric vehicle had no human driver or remote operator. It traveled fully autonomously through city streets and highways, arriving a day ahead of schedule.

Musk congratulated the Tesla AI teams and noted that this might be the first fully autonomous public road journey ever completed.

“There was no one in the car, and control was never handed off to remote operators. It was fully autonomous! As far as we know, this is the first fully autonomous vehicle trip on public roads,” Musk wrote.
