Diyora Keldiyorova joins international judo commission
Uzbekistan’s judoka Diyora Keldiyorova has been elected to the International Judo Federation (IJF) Athletes' Commission for the 2025–2029 term, reported uz.kursiv.media.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Sports of Uzbekistan, she will serve as one of nine athletes on the commission.

Other members include Azerbaijani Olympic gold medalist Hidayat Heydarov, who triumphed at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Keldiyorova made history as the first Uzbek woman to win gold in judo. She defeated Kosovo’s Distria Krasniqi in the final of an international tournament.

The IJF Athletes' Commission serves to represent the interests of judokas, maintain communication with IJF leadership, and protect the rights of both current and retired athletes.
