Chevrolet Cobalt Maintains Leadership in Kazakh Market

Chevrolet Cobalt became the best-selling car in Kazakhstan once again in October 2025. According to data from the "Kazakhstan Automobile Association" (KAA), Kazakh citizens purchased 1,889 new Cobolts last month.

This model has been leading the national rankings for the eighth consecutive month. Although Chevrolet's overall sales in Kazakhstan in October decreased by 55.3% compared to the same period last year, the Cobalt model has maintained its demand and remains the brand’s main driving force.

The vehicle secured the top position in the country’s ranking of the 20 most popular cars, outperforming models like the Hyundai Tucson (1,726 units sold) and Kia Sportage (876 units sold). Market experts attribute the Cobalt’s high demand to its affordability, ease of use, and wide adoption in both family and business vehicle segments.

In the first ten months of 2025, Chevrolet sold a total of 25,709 vehicles in Kazakhstan, securing the second position among brands (+16.6%). A significant portion of these sales came from the Cobalt and Onix models.
