At the Godzilla Fest 2025 festival held in Tokyo on November 3, 2025, Toho studio announced the next film in the famous franchise — Godzilla Minus Zero, reports The Wrap. The film’s logo was drawn by the director and screenwriter Takashi Yamazaki.
He is previously known for working on the film Godzilla Minus One. So far, no information has been revealed about the plot of the new film.
The Minus Zero title has left fans with questions. The previous Minus One film depicted a period before the events of the original 1954 film.
Now, the question remains open – what does “Minus Zero” mean? The creators only advised: “Stay tuned for updates.”
Fans speculate that the new film could be a remake of the very first Godzilla film. However, only future official announcements can confirm this.
