Singer Sevinch Muminova Mirsadikova openly spoke about her personal life and views on marriage in an interview.
The host asked the singer:
— “Have you received marriage proposals from unmarried men who are younger than you?”
Sevinch answered as follows:
— “Yes, there have been many such proposals. But first of all, I look at a person’s worldview. Age is not very important to me. Even if he is younger, if he has a broad outlook and mature thinking, I would agree. If our characters and worldviews match, I will certainly say ‘yes.’”
Then the journalist asked:
— “Have there been proposals from men whose wives passed away or from divorced men? If so, how do you feel about that?”
The singer answered this question openly as well:
— “Yes, there have been such proposals too. But first, I find out why they divorced. If the divorce happened due to serious, unforgivable reasons, and if his worldview is broad and our characters match, I might agree. But if the divorce happened over trivial matters and was the man’s fault — no. Because no woman would easily let go of a good husband.”

Continuing her thoughts, Sevinch said:
— “Living with someone whose worldview is childish and lower than mine is worse than my current life. I am very happy right now. I don’t want to spend my life and ruin my nerves trying to raise a narrow-minded, low-character person. A man must be a man. Beside him, I should feel pampered, rely on him, and trust him.”
During the conversation, Sevinch was asked:
— “You must have received many proposals to become a second wife?”
The singer gave a firm answer:
— “Yes, there have been such proposals too. But I think living as a second wife is very difficult. I cannot share, and I don’t want to share. It would eat me up inside. If there is no justice, I cannot accept such a life. After all, it is said: marry only if you can be just; otherwise, live with one wife and be grateful. Without justice, such a marriage will not last long and will definitely make someone unhappy.”
