US President Donald Trump once again drew public attention with his statement regarding Germany. In one of his speeches, he recalled that the US played an important role in the reconstruction of Germany in the past and expressed his dissatisfaction with Berlin's position in the current situation.
Trump stated, "We have rebuilt Germany... and now Germany is telling us that the war with Iran is not their war." In his opinion, Germany seems to be distancing itself in this matter.
The president also added that "Germany is dissatisfied with the fact that I started a war without prior warning." Trump sarcastically commented on this, stating, "If I had told them I would start a war with Iran, they would have revealed it to the press."
This statement is causing various discussions in international political circles. Some analysts view this as a divergence in views between the US and Germany, while others consider it Trump's usual harsh rhetoric.
