Robert Lewandowski could leave Barcelona for Saudi Arabia

Robert Lewandowski is on the verge of leaving Barcelona. The experienced Polish striker is close to accepting a lucrative financial offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, according to Goal.com reports.

According to WP Sportowe Fakty, the Riyadh-based club is offering the 37-year-old a salary of 90 million euros per year. This is expected to be the most profitable contract of the player's career.

Although clubs like Juventus, Milan, and Chicago Fire have shown interest, Al-Hilal has become the clear favorite in the transfer race. Due to Barcelona's financial difficulties, the club is prepared to part ways with its highest-paid player.

If the transfer goes through, Lewandowski will join a star-studded squad under the management of Simone Inzaghi. The team features names such as Karim Benzema, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Ruben Neves, Kalidou Koulibaly, Theo Hernandez, and Darwin Nunez.
