US President Donald Trump made a series of sharp statements regarding the situation with Iran. He stated that Washington will never allow Tehran to acquire nuclear weapons.
Trump emphasized that Iran has suffered serious military damage, noting that official Tehran may not yet fully realize this. At the same time, he stated that the US had the capability to destroy all targets within Iranian territory within two weeks if it wanted to.
According to the US President, three high-ranking members of the Iranian leadership have been eliminated. However, he noted that communication is still being maintained with individuals who currently hold some level of authority.
Trump also stressed that Iran's military potential has significantly weakened. In his opinion, the country has almost no navy, air force, or air defense system left.
During the statement, Donald Trump also commented on General Qasem Soleimani. He said that if Soleimani had not been eliminated, Iran would be a completely different country today. Trump described him as a "capable but evil genius."
