Which names are most popular for boys in Kazakhstan?

Muhammad has become the most popular male name in Kazakhstan, according to new statistical data released by the First Credit Bureau.
It is reported that 172,500 boys were born in the country during 2025. The most frequently chosen names include Muhammad, Alikhan, Aysultan, Umar, and Aldiyar.
The statistics also provide data on the age of marriage. According to the report, men in Kazakhstan marry at an average age of 27.9, while women marry at 25.3.
By the beginning of 2026, the male population in the country reached 10 million, which is approximately 450,000 fewer than the female population. Experts note that the share of men has been gradually increasing in recent years, reaching nearly 49% of the population.
The statistics also include data on the labor market. It is noted that men are more active in hazardous and labor-intensive sectors. Specifically, more than 83,000 men are engaged in heavy physical labor.
