A Russian citizen in Kazakhstan posted a video message about the difficulties she faced after arriving in Almaty to open a bank card. In her message, she expressed dissatisfaction with the country's bureaucratic processes and used a phrase comparing herself to an “Uzbek in Russia”.

Following the incident, Kazakh law enforcement agencies initiated an administrative case against her for “minor hooliganism.” According to the court's decision, the Russian citizen was sentenced to 10 days of administrative detention.

The incident has been widely discussed on social media; while some have raised issues regarding bureaucracy, others are criticizing her manner of speaking.
