Kyrgyzstan recommends civil servants to work without suits

In Kyrgyzstan, civil servants have been advised to come to work without suits and ties during the summer season. This initiative is said to have been put forward to reduce energy consumption.

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev noted that working in lighter clothing helps reduce the use of air conditioners. It was noted that this could significantly save electricity.

Kasymaliev cited Japan's experience as an example in this regard. He said that billions of yen have been saved in Japan through a similar approach.

The initiative is being discussed in various ways on social media. While some users evaluate it as a practical and useful decision, others emphasize that a formal dress code should be maintained in government offices.
