Currently, the price of 5-gram gold bars is 6 million 180 thousand soums, and a 20-gram bar is 24 million 718 thousand soums.
Current prices for precious metals are 9.1% higher than at the beginning of the year and 48% higher than at the same time in 2024.
For your information, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan put commemorative coins made of gold and silver into circulation in 2018. Since November 2020, Uzbeks have also had the opportunity to store their savings in the form of gold bullion: the Central Bank has put 5, 10, 20 and 50 gram gold bars on sale through commercial banks.
Gold bullion prices are revised by the Central Bank during the day, depending on the situation on the international precious metals market. Accordingly, prices are constantly changing.
The increase in gold prices in Uzbekistan is explained by the increase in global prices. The price of gold in the world continues to break long-term records. Currently, one troy ounce of gold is valued at $ 2,867, which is equivalent to $ 92.2 per gram. Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
