US company Valmont Industries to implement irrigation systems in Uzbekistan

In Uzbekistan, irrigation systems using sprinklers will be introduced in cooperation with the US company Valmont Industries. This agreement was reached during a meeting between the Minister of Agriculture, Ibrohim Abdurakhmanov, and the company's Vice President, Philipp Schmidt-Holtzmann, as part of the C5+1 summit.

The project includes the phased launch of irrigation systems, as well as the introduction of a “smart” platform with the capability for remote monitoring and management. Valmont Industries also proposed to train farmers and agronomists on how to work with the equipment and maintain it.
