
The volume of wholesale and retail trade in Uzbekistan continues to grow, according to Podrobno.uz.
According to the National Statistics Committee, the retail trade turnover in the country amounted to 403 trillion soums from January to November 2025. This represents an 11% increase compared to the same period last year, indicating a rise in consumer activity.
As of December 1, 86,197 commercial enterprises were operating in the retail trade sector across the country. Positive growth was also observed in the wholesale trade segment.
During the reporting period, the wholesale trade turnover reached 443 trillion 4 billion soums, which is 12.8% higher compared to the previous year. At the beginning of December, 51,497 commercial organizations were active in the wholesale trade sector in Uzbekistan.
Additionally, it was noted that Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover exceeded $72 billion in the January-November period of 2025.
