Uzbekistan to Extract 10 Million Tons of Coal During Autumn-Winter Season

Uzbekistan plans to extract 10 million tons of coal during the 2025-2026 autumn-winter season. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation on ongoing developments and future tasks in the coal industry.

To achieve this goal, the material and technical infrastructure of “Uzbekcoal” is being strengthened, and additional producers are being involved. During the 2024-2025 autumn-winter season, approximately 8.7 million tons of coal were extracted and supplied.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized the importance of ensuring the uninterrupted supply of coal to the population, modernizing enterprises, commissioning new capacities, and reducing production costs through competition. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
