A very exciting headline clash took place in Round 13 of the Saudi league. At Jeddah’s King Abdulla Sports City Stadium, Al Nassr lost to Al Ahli and missed a key opportunity.
In the first half, Jamal Touni scored twice, while Al Nassr’s loyal player Abdulrahman Al Amri responded with a brace in the 31st and 44th minutes. His goals raised hopes of a win, but in the second half Demiral’s 55th-minute strike decided the match and secured Al Ahli’s victory.

This round marked Al Nassr’s first defeat of the season, after they had drawn for the first time in the previous round. The team are currently top with 31 points and await Al Hilol’s match. If Al Hilol win, they will take the lead from Al Nassr.
Al Ahli are in 3rd place with 25 points, and their next goal is to climb higher in the standings.
The match featured many tough and crucial goals, and both teams proved each other to be very strong opponents. In the near future, such clashes in Saudi football are expected to become even more exciting.
