Food Exports to Exceed $3 Billion in 2025

By the end of 2025, Uzbekistan will export food products worth $3.2 billion for the first time. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced this during a meeting with agricultural workers at the Qoqsaroy residence.
Since the beginning of this year, food exports have increased by 37 percent. Uzbekistan is expanding its export geography, supplying fruits and vegetables to 83 countries.
According to the President, the country ranks third globally in the export of dried plums and apricots, seventh in peaches and raisins, and eighth in cherries. This year, Uzbek farmers harvested 3.4 million tons of fruits, 2 million tons of grapes, 19.5 million tons of vegetables, melons, and potatoes, as well as 1 million tons of legumes and oilseeds.
The President stated that the volume of the harvested crop has allowed the country to stabilize domestic prices and significantly boost exports.
