It was noted that the draft presidential decree plans to introduce new benefits to support citizens providing taxi services in electric vehicles. According to the document, it is proposed to provide a discount of up to 30% in the payment of social tax to persons who register as self-employed and provide taxi services.
In addition, state organizations may be allowed to use paid parking lots, including parking lots at airports and train stations, for up to 30 minutes free of charge. It is said that this measure is aimed at reducing daily expenses for electric taxi drivers and encouraging them to switch to "green transport."
As another innovation in the project, it is proposed to introduce the practice of awarding the "Nature Protector" badge to citizens who provided taxi services for a distance of 1 million kilometers without committing an offense or a traffic accident. It is noted that thanks to these procedures, it is planned to increase the number of self-employed taxi drivers by electric vehicles to 300,000 people, and the share of cars with fuel engines in air pollution will be reduced to 7%.
