Agribusinesses that implemented international standards received 3.8 bln soums in state support'magini oldi

In 2025, 48 agro and food enterprises that implemented international standards in practice received a total of 3.8 billion soums in government support. This was announced by Minister of Agriculture Ibrohim Abdurahmonov in his address to deputies of the Legislative Chamber.

According to the minister, by the end of last year the number of enterprises in Uzbekistan holding international quality certificates reached 2,000. Between 2022 and 2024, the country’s food production volume nearly doubled, rising from 76.5 trillion soums to 133 trillion soums. Over the same period, the processing rate of vegetables and fruit products increased 2.5 times.

Abdurahmonov also noted that in 2025 Uzbekistan supplied agricultural products to 95 countries. Key buyers included Russia, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan and China.

As part of agricultural development, a total of 673 investment projects worth 10.4 trillion soums are planned for 2025–2026. To date, 429 new production facilities have been launched, creating 6.4 thousand jobs.
