Haaland scores the 35,000th goal in Premier League history

Matchday 21 fixtures in the Premier League are underway. Manchester City hosted Brighton and opened the scoring at the end of the first half. Norwegian striker Erling Haaland converted a penalty to put his team in front. This was reported by euro-football.ru. reports .

Notably, Haaland’s goal was recorded as the milestone 35,000th goal in Premier League history.

The count has been kept since 15 August 1992, the day the Premier League played its first matches. For comparison, the 30,000th goal was scored in August 2021, and another 5,000 goals were added over the next 4 years and 131 days.

As a reminder, Haaland has been playing for Manchester City since 2022.
