An official explanation has been given regarding the scandal surrounding a 14-year-old girl in the Akhangaran district of Tashkent region. Earlier, a video appeal had spread on social media accusing a patrol police officer of inappropriate behavior toward the girl. Subsequently, the Regional Main Police Department denied these allegations and announced the start of an investigation.
On April 30, the police department revealed additional details about the incident. According to them, comprehensive checks showed that the claims in the video appeal were unfounded.
It became known that around midnight on April 27, a 22-year-old acquaintance called the patrol officer and asked to meet. The woman and the 14-year-old girl then voluntarily got into the officer's service vehicle.
According to one of the participants in the incident, while they were talking in the car, another vehicle suddenly arrived. It turned out that one of the young men who got out had previously been in a relationship with the girl. He started a conflict and filmed the scene.
The girl was frightened and under psychological pressure. To escape the situation, the driver quickly drove away. The events were later portrayed in a completely different light on social media.
According to official information, the person who distributed the video appeal is not related to the girl. He had a personal relationship with her and constantly monitored her. It was also established that a few days earlier, this young man had been stopped by the same officer for being out late at night with the girl, and received an official warning.
Later, after the girl sent him her location, he came there and deliberately started a conflict, attempting to accuse the officer.
The police announced that a legal assessment of the incident would be conducted. Citizens were also advised not to blindly trust any messages on social networks and to rely only on official sources.
