As a result of the search operations carried out by law enforcement officers as part of the fight against corruption, violations of the law were revealed.
In particular, the detachment commander of the Almazar district department of the Tashkent city Security Department of the National Guard, Senior Lieutenant T.A., was detained with material evidence while receiving 5,500 US dollars in the parking lot of the "Ekobozor" shopping complex in the M. Ulugbek district in exchange for gaining the trust of a citizen born in 1980 and, through his high-ranking colleagues, introducing his acquaintance to the National Guard system.
During an emergency operation in the Urtachirchik district of the Tashkent region, the head of the rehabilitation camp under the Main Directorate of Protection of the National Guard, Lieutenant Colonel A.R., was detained for taking advantage of his official position and taking the trust of a citizen born in 1989 and, with the help of his authorized acquaintances, receiving 1,500 US dollars in exchange for placing him in one of the protection units of the National Guard in the Tashkent region.
Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against these individuals under Articles 168 and 28,211 of the Criminal Code, and a preventive measure of arrest has been applied. Investigative measures are underway.
