In the Kashkadarya region, law enforcement officers arrested an individual who was illegally teaching religion to minors during a raid. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The incident took place in the Kitob district of Kashkadarya. According to law enforcement officials, the individual had been teaching 9 minors, who came from Kitob, Chirakchi, and Tashkent, religious lessons in violation of the law. The lessons, held in his home, cost 100 US dollars. It was revealed that he used the books "Qur'an" and "Sacred Teacher" to teach the students.
According to the detainee's statements, he had been conducting religious lessons secretly at his home, teaching minors without proper registration. The lessons contradicted local and international standards, which attracted the attention of the authorities.
