On July 23, a road traffic accident occurred in the Kuva district of Fergana region. The Nexia 3 car, violating the overtaking rule, crashed into a tree on the side of the road, resulting in the death of one passenger and injuries to another.
According to the regional road safety department, the incident occurred around 16:00 in the Tolmozor neighborhood area. A man born in 1993, B.S., was driving the car and violated the overtaking rule, losing control. The car collided with an almond tree on the right side of the road and blocked the path.
Preliminary reports indicate that the passenger in the car died on the spot. Another passenger sustained injuries and was sent to the hospital. The condition of the other individual is reported as critical. Emergency services, road safety officers, and other responsible organizations were called to the scene.
The vehicle leaving the road and hitting the tree drew the attention of many local residents and other road users. The identity of the deceased passenger has been identified. An additional investigation is underway.
