A citizen named I.Kh., who was wanted for committing a crime, was detained by law enforcement officers in the capital, Tashkent. This was reported by the Namangan regional Department of Internal Affairs press service.
According to the available information, I.Kh., born in 1987 and a resident of the "Kichik Jomashuy" neighborhood of Mingbulok district in Namangan region, was identified and arrested on July 8 of this year in the Olmazor district of Tashkent as part of the "Search" operations.
A criminal case was initiated against him under Article 169, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (theft), and he was declared wanted for evading the investigation prematurely.
As a result of continuous investigative efforts in Tashkent, I.Kh. was successfully apprehended and handed over to the Mingbulok district Department of Internal Affairs in accordance with the established procedure.
Law enforcement officials emphasize that regardless of how much time has passed, individuals who commit crimes will ultimately be held accountable before the law.
