U.S. President Donald Trump, speaking to journalists at the White House, accused former President Barack Obama of treason and expressed doubts about the falsification of the 2020 presidential elections. According to Trump, Obama and his supporters attempted to steal the elections and tamper with them. He also stated that there were clear attempts to falsify the elections in 2020, linking these events to Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden.
“This was treason. They tried to steal the election and distort it,” Trump said. According to him, “They even did things in other countries that no one could even imagine.” Trump referred to Obama as “their leader” and also accused Clinton and Biden of attempting to falsify the 2020 elections.
He stated that this group, led by Obama, tried to use the election for their own benefit and falsify it. All of these actions were exposed, and most importantly, they did not try to avoid the exposure of their crimes.
CNN also pointed out the legal aspect of this issue, noting that in the U.S., the most severe punishment for treason is the death penalty. According to Trump, in this process, the report by National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard, released last week, should be taken into account. The report states that Obama and his aides “distorted and politicized intelligence data” related to Russia’s attempts to influence the 2016 elections.
