On November 5, 2025, Bayern defeated PSG 2-1 away. The Munich side scored the first two goals in the first half and, despite losing a player later, withstood the hosts’ pressure and returned from Paris with three points.
The start of the match was unsuccessful for PSG. In the 5th minute, Luis Diaz opened the scoring by putting the rebound from the goalkeeper into the net.
After that, Bayern exploited the gaps in the host's defense through quick attacks. Following a mistake by Marquinhos, Diaz punished the opponents again, making it 2-0.
However, just before halftime, the referee showed a red card to Diaz for rough play, and Bayern continued the match one man down. In the second half, PSG increased the pressure and took the initiative.
Vitinha and Zaire-Emery’s shots were saved several times by Manuel Neuer, keeping his team in the game. Nevertheless, the hosts maintained their pressure and, as a result, Neves scored a header off a cross from Kang-in, reviving the intrigue.
At the end of the game, PSG made numerous passes into Bayern’s penalty area. Even PSG goalkeeper Chevalier joined the attacks.
Despite this, Bayern continued to control the game with positional discipline. Diaz’s sending off changed the rhythm of the match.
Though PSG strengthened their attacks, accuracy was lacking in their shots. Neuer played reliably in all situations.
PSG mainly tried long range shots, but Bayern’s defense successfully dealt with these attempts. The hosts had numerous corners and close-range opportunities, but failed to score the crucial goal.
