The striker managed to score by finishing off Dumfries' pass. However, the Kazakh club did not give up.
After a corner kick, Ofri Arad equalized the score with a precise shot. The teams went into the break with equal chances.
In the second half, "Inter" played more confidently and posed more danger to Anarbekov’s goal. Despite "Qayrat’s" tight defense, the hosts achieved their goal.
In the 69th minute, Carlos Augusto fired home from the edge of the penalty area into the near corner, scoring the decisive goal.
The Milanese had more possession and took many shots at goal. "Qayrat" relied on counterattacks.
During the second half, both coaches made substitutions. For the visitors, Ricardinho and Baybek entered the field, while for the hosts, Thuram and Calhanoglu were brought in.
Despite the Kazakhstani players giving it their all, they were unable to change the score.
