Uzbek Archers Win First-Ever Medals at Asian Championship

The Asian Archery Championship concluded in Bangladesh on November 16, 2025. This event marked a historic milestone for Uzbekistan's national team.

The national team made history by reaching the podium at the continental championship for the first time, earning two medals in the process. Experienced athletes Amirkhon Sodiqov and Ziyodakhon Abdusattorova successfully advanced through the qualification and playoff rounds in the mixed team category, reaching the final for the first time.

In the decisive match, the Uzbek archers narrowly missed victory and secured the silver medal. Additionally, Uzbekistan's men's team triumphed in the bronze medal match against Kazakhstan in a hard-fought competition, claiming third place.
