Leeds avoid defeat to Liverpool in a season for the first time in 25 years

In the final matches of Matchday 19 in the English Premier League, Leeds took a point away at Liverpool: the game ended 0–0. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.

This was the second meeting between the sides this season. Earlier at Elland Road, there was also no winner, with the teams drawing 3–3.

As a result, Leeds have gone an entire Premier League season without losing to Liverpool for the first time since 2000/01. That season, Leeds beat the Reds in both matches.

In the years that followed, whenever the schedule brought these clubs together (as Leeds have not always played in the Premier League), Liverpool usually won at least one of the two games.
