On December 7, the F.K. Salmanov Memorial Oil Countries Cup tournament concluded in the city of Yugorsk.
This tournament, held from December 1 to 7, brought together the strongest boxers of the region. The Uzbekistan national team participated successfully, securing a total of 5 medals, including 2 gold medals.
In the 71 kg weight category, Abduaziz Jurakulov dominated the final match and claimed the gold medal. In the +92 kg heavyweight category, Ozodbek Aliyev also delivered a solid performance, earning the second gold medal for the team.
In the 75 kg weight category, Jasurbek Olimjonov successfully advanced through all his matches but fell short in the final, bringing home a silver medal. The bronze medals were won by the following boxers: - Abduaziz Abdunazarov (54 kg); - Norbek Abdullayev (80 kg).
In addition, Baurjon Joldoshev served on the panel of tournament referees, ensuring fair and just conduct of the matches.
