The new owner of Domodedovo Airport is "Perspektiva" LLC - a subsidiary of Sheremetyevo. This was reported by RBK.
During the auction, the price dropped from the initially declared 132.2 billion rubles to the lowest bid price. The company owning Vnukovo Airport also participated in the auction.
According to RBC, Domodedovo's new owners will be required to pay the airport's debt on loans exceeding 75 billion rubles.
Domodedovo's first auction did not take place due to a lack of buyers. The only application for participation was submitted by individual entrepreneur Evgeny Bogat. The commission did not allow the man to participate in the auction, as he did not provide all the documents.
In June 2025, Domodedovo Airport was transferred to state ownership by the decision of the Moscow Region Arbitration Court. The court acknowledged that the airport beneficiaries, while being residents of other countries (Turkey, UAE, and Israel), owned strategic assets for the country and exported profits abroad, violating Russian law.
At the end of last year, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov stated that the auction for the privatization of Domodedovo will be held at the beginning of 2026, and potential investors have been found. In mid-January, Domodedovo was put up for sale at Avito.
