FIFA's regional office will be located in the building of the Uzbekistan Football Association. This was outlined in President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's decision regarding the hosting of the 2027 U-20 World Cup.
A portion of the expenses for establishing and operating the office will be covered by FIFA. The remaining funds will be sourced from Uzbekistan's Football Support Fund, but it is stipulated that this amount will not exceed 50% of the total expenses.
A special organizing committee will be established to host the World Cup for young football players. The committee will be chaired by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov.
The committee will coordinate tasks related to organizing the tournament, creating infrastructure, and ensuring a reliable electricity supply for the regions where the championship will take place. The Ministry of Transport has been assigned the task of arranging special buses to transport tournament participants from Tashkent to New Tashkent.
These transport services will be provided free of charge to the tournament participants.
