Right from the initial minutes, "Başakşehir" opted for an attacking game. In the 21st minute, Eldor Shomurodov opened the scoring, giving his team the lead.
The "Gaziantep" team responded quickly and managed to equalize in the 26th minute through Drissa Kamara, increasing the tension of the game.
Shortly after, in the 29th minute, another Uzbek player, Abbosbek Fayzullayev, displayed his skills by scoring the second goal. With this, the hosts effectively decided the match's fate in the first half itself.
In the second half, "Başakşehir" left no chances for their opponents. In the 53rd minute, an own goal by "Gaziantep" defender Kizildag widened the scoreline. Later, in the 68th minute, Shomurodov assisted Gunes, who converted it into a goal.
In the 84th minute, Brnic drove the final nail with an individual effort, beating defenders and striking accurately to seal the game.
During the match, "Gaziantep" player Rodrigues received a red card, leaving his team in a difficult position. This further solidified the hosts' dominance.
