Currently, the city of Almaty, Kazakhstan, is at the center of attention for MMA fans. The prestigious “Alash Pride 115” tournament is being held here, and the event marked another joyous moment for our country.
In one of the most exciting bouts of the tournament, our compatriot, blogger Elmurod Haqnazarov, who is well-known for his humorous videos on social media, stepped into the octagon. His opponent was the experienced Brazilian fighter Diego Lopes. Many anticipated this clash to be prolonged and hard-fought, but events took a completely different turn.
The first round of the fight answered all questions. Relying on swift movements, precise calculations, and experience, Elmurod Haqnazarov forced his opponent to submit via a chokehold. There was no need for prolonged combat in the octagon—our compatriot concluded the match confidently and composedly.
Interestingly, it seems that the duration of the fights involving Elmurod Haqnazarov is continually “shortening.” Once again, he effortlessly secured victory, locking and defeating his opponent with a chokehold method. The score now stands at 2:0.
At the age of 39, Elmurod Haqnazarov continues to prove that it is possible not only to compete in MMA but also to earn such convincing victories. Fans jokingly remark: age is just a number if you have character and dedication.
Undoubtedly, this victory served as great motivation not only for the fighter but also for the thousands of fans who have been supporting him all along. Once again, the flag of Uzbekistan was proudly raised in the Alash Pride octagon.
