
As part of the cultural program of the informal meeting in Saint Petersburg, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, along with the heads of CIS member states, visited the State Hermitage Museum.

The leaders explored the exhibition of this world-renowned museum, known for its unique collection of art pieces and cultural monuments. During the visit, they toured the Main Museum Complex halls, which reflect key stages of Russian and European history and artistic heritage.

The delegation leaders visited the Alexander Hall to observe the artistic silver exhibition and also toured the Picket Hall and Heraldry Hall, which are designated for official ceremonies and events.

It was noted that the Pavilion Hall of the Small Hermitage, housing the famed “Peacock” mechanical clock and unique items made of precious metals, particularly captivated the visitors.

During the visit, the importance of strengthening cultural dialogue, preserving historical heritage, and fostering humanitarian cooperation among the Commonwealth states was emphasized.
