In Matchweek 19 of the Premier League, Chelsea hosted Bournemouth and drew 2–2. All the goals were scored before the break, while the second half saw both sides largely rely on defensive organization. This was reported by kursiv.uz.reports.
The visitors opened the scoring as early as the 8th minute: after a throw-in and a loose ball, David Brooks reacted first and steered it into the net. Chelsea responded quickly — in the 16th minute, Cole Palmer calmly converted a penalty awarded after a VAR review.
In the 24th minute, the London side went ahead: following a move involving Alejandro Garnacho, Enzo Fernandez placed a precise shot into the far corner to make it 2–1. However, Chelsea failed to protect the lead — in the 28th minute, Justin Kluivert capitalized on a defensive mistake to level the score.
In the second half, Chelsea had more of the initiative and won frequent corners. Bournemouth replied with a handful of counterattacks, and the score at Stamford Bridge remained unchanged — 2–2.
