According to Transfermarkt, the French club paid €9.5 million for the player, who had been playing for Turkey’s Fenerbahce.
In the 2025/2026 season, Szymanski made 26 appearances in all competitions, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists.
The 26-year-old midfielder has a contract running until June 30, 2029. His transfer value is estimated at €12 million.
Szymanski is currently recovering from an injury: he has a groin strain. The exact timeline for his return to the pitch is not yet known.
