According to the coach, the Parisians have not yet reached the level they want in the league. Enrique noted that opponents often play with a deep defensive block against PSG and said the team’s goal is to move into first place in the standings. He also added that Lens’ 10-match winning streak is making the title race even more interesting.
The coach did not hide that Auxerre could cause problems in the match. He said the team made things difficult for opponents in games against Marseille, Lille, Lens and Strasbourg. Despite their tough position in the table, Auxerre will use all their strength to beat PSG.
Enrique reminded that PSG are not invincible and stressed the need for focus and maximum effort in every game. He also said he expects very few open spaces on the pitch for the Parisians.
At the moment, PSG are second with 42 points, while Auxerre are 17th with 12 points.
